Educational Events

The bad news is: Bees continue to be in trouble.

The good news is: People can change that.

Our educational events bring diverse audiences together to make pollinator education accessible and actionable—because knowledge truly is power.

Educational Event Inclusions

We’ve produced free and ticketed educational events in-person and virtually for companies, schools, parks, libraries, garden clubs, community centers, private gatherings, and more.

And because equal access is so important to us, we can source Spanish and ASL interpretation by request.

Educational events can be tailored to your topics of interest and audience, but typically our set up includes:

  • Live honey bees in a secure observation case (weather permitting; simulation option available)

  • Selection of books about bees curated to audience age and interest

  • Bee specimens

  • Honey bee hive products

  • On demand and take away activities

  • Honey tasting

  • Enlarged photography

  • Projected presentation

Our hive sponsorship program funds free educational events to Denver Public Schools, Denver Public Library, and Colorado Parks and Wildlife. If you work for one of these nonprofit institutions and would like to take advantage of our volunteerism, please indicate in your request.

“It’s clear that Christine's efforts alongside the People’s Bees, provides important avenues to pursue for anyone interested in bee keeping, gardening and agriculture. We highly recommend that individuals and groups contact Christine and The People’s Bees for any information regarding this fascinating subject.”
